What is PCYBOX?
PCYBOX is a cybersecurity R&D startup founded in 2025 in Dakar, Senegal. It designs its own cybersecurity technologies end to end (CERT Platform, ThreatShare, Orbis, SENTINEL, AttackGraph) and works in four areas: secure development, application security (penetration testing, code review), custom cybersecurity (CERT / CSIRT setups) and advisory and training.
Is PCYBOX an IT services firm?
No. PCYBOX is an R&D startup: it designs and maintains its own cybersecurity technologies, from research to production code, and applies to its own products what it delivers to clients. It also runs custom projects and security engagements with that same expertise.
Do you build your own technologies or use existing solutions?
Both. We design our own technologies when nothing existing fits. If the client prefers, we also use proven solutions, open source or commercial, which we configure, adapt, harden or extend to their environment.
Does PCYBOX replace an EDR, a SIEM or a SOC?
No. Our services and products complement existing tools (EDR, SIEM, SOC) without replacing them.
Can your platforms be hosted on our premises?
Yes. On-premise deployment is possible depending on the configuration: code, data and hosting stay under the client organization's control.
How does a penetration test with PCYBOX work?
Each engagement runs on a scope defined and authorized in writing by the client. It ends with a report including proofs of concept, a vulnerability classification following the OWASP methodology, a prioritized remediation plan and a retest after fixes.
Do you work outside Senegal?
Yes. Based in Dakar, PCYBOX works in Senegal, across Africa and internationally, remotely or on site, in French and English. We are also a local technical partner for international organizations operating in Africa.
Who are your clients?
We work for public institutions, international organizations, CERT / CSIRT teams, companies and organizations without an in-house security team. We do not publish client references at this stage.
How do we get started with PCYBOX?
The entry point is a first conversation through the contact form or at contact@pcybox.com. We work as custom projects, security engagements, product licenses, pilots, advisory and training, or partnerships.
